About Carol and Andrew

Carol Lawless is a writer/editor and storyteller with more than 30 years experience in magazine feature writing.  After graduating from Trent University, Carol  moved to Toronto, attended Humber College for journalism and started the first independent magazine in Canada for chiropractors. Like so many of us, Carol moved back to Peterborough to raise her two daughters, Grace and Joan. Currently she works at the New Canadians Centre in fund development where she finds great joy in sharing the stories of newcomers who have moved to Peterborough to build a new life.

Andrew Wilton is a local educator, artist and dad. He came to Peterborough for Trent and stayed because of this city. Andrew loves small cities, great friendships and the outdoors. He is interested in people. After acquiring a degree in history and in education from Trent University Andrew has spent his years in Peterborough working with students from all over the city.  He loves how the heartbeat of any town is the people who live there and make a difference.
